Dental Implants - Features and Options

Depicting the inferior alveolar nerve channel in red is a standard feature of the BioDental Model System

Custom surgical drill guides significantly reduce chair time for precise implant positioning and angulation. Bone, tooth, or gingiva supported stents can be made. Guides include drilling tubes of various bur sizes. Custom surgical reduction copings are also available.

Available options include:

  • Gingival soft tissue models to simplify setup or for planning flapless surgery. (Metal artefacts, patient movement, or other factors may limit the availability or quality of this option from any particular CT scan.)
  • Coloring teeth and roots in red.
  • Half arch and quarter arch BioDental Models for smaller cases.
  • Coloring low density (Type III) bone in red (available only from MDCT scans).

In the New York City area, we have selected these partners based on their high level of expertise, excellent reputation, and years of experience.

  • For CT scanning conveniently located in Manhattan we recommend you contact APW Dental Services.
  • Our exclusive approved provider for BioDental Model Custom Surgical Guides in the tri-state area is Marotta Dental Studio.
